The data we collect
As set out in our privacy policy, we collect personal information from the way you interact with our website, in particular through cookies and similar technologies.
This information may be shared with third parties, including advertising partners. We do this in order to show you ads on other websites that are a better match for your interests, and for the other reasons set out in our privacy policy.
What the law calls a “sale” or a “share”
We are aware that sharing personal information for targeted advertising based on your browsing may count as a “sale”, a “share” or “targeted advertising” under the privacy laws of certain US states.

What this does not cover
The data needed to process your order, ship it and look after you afterwards is not affected by this opt-out: it is what makes your purchase work.

Your rights if you live in the European Union
SMTZ is a French company. The personal data it processes is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. The data controller is SARL SMTZ, 17 rue Raymond Morin, 57400 Sarrebourg, France.
You therefore have the following rights over your data, at any time:
- Right of access — confirm that your data is being processed and receive a copy of it.
- Right to rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Right to erasure — ask for your data to be deleted, subject to our legal retention obligations, in particular accounting ones.
- Right to restriction — ask for processing to be frozen while something is checked.
- Right to object — object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and in particular to marketing, at any time and without giving a reason.
- Right to portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format or have it sent to a third party.
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent at any time, in particular for advertising cookies and the newsletter, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
- Post-mortem instructions — set out what should happen to your data after your death.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out setting enabled, then depending on where you live we will treat that as a request not to take part in activities that may count as a “sale” or a “share” of personal information, or as targeted advertising, for the device and browser you used to reach our site.
