About SMTZ

SMTZ started in 2022, in a small town in eastern France called Sarrebourg. Fanny was 19. The name is the two founders' surnames pushed together — hers and Arnaud's.

Four years later we've shipped more than 40,000 orders to over 28 countries, and we still work the same way: we design the pieces ourselves, we produce them with small partner workshops in Italy and Asia, and we choose every piece of jewelry one by one.

What we make

Clothing. Our own designs, made with small family-run workshops — most of them in the Prato region of Italy. Small runs, which is why pieces sell out and don't always come back.

Jewelry. Stainless steel, chosen piece by piece. It doesn't tarnish, it doesn't rust and it won't turn your skin green. Shower in it, swim in it, take it to the sea. That's the whole point of the material and it's why we chose it.

How we work

There's no head office and no call centre. Customer care is answered by us, usually within 24 hours. New pieces go online every Sunday at 5pm Paris time.

We run travelling pop-up stores across France rather than permanent shops, because we'd rather come to our customers than wait for them.

Shipping to the US

Every order is packed and shipped from France. US customs duties and import taxes are paid by us before your parcel leaves, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay — no customs bill at the door.
